Online Sessions 2

Energy psychology is a subset of holistic approaches that integrates psychological principles with the concept of energy systems in the body. It focuses on the idea that emotional and psychological issues can be linked to disruptions in the body’s energy flow. Michele blends holistic counselling with energy psychology techniques (intuitive/energy healing, the Emotion Code, and the Body Code), using both psychological insights and energy-based methods to facilitate healing and personal growth.

The Emotion Code and the Body Code are forms of Energy Psychology and are not meant to treat disease. Instead, they are used to remove the underlying imbalances, through kinesiology practices, caused by trapped emotions and other imbalances in the body, allowing the body to be in the best place to be able to heal itself. Michele can assist you to remove imbalances which have potentially caused you issues that may lead to future or current health worries. Intuitive/energy healing and the Emotion Code and Body Code allows you to connect to your body through the subconscious mind, removing the programming, stuck emotions and other imbalances to help you become light and balanced. Intuitive Healing is another form of Energy Psychology that can help you unblock energy fields in your body, through varying techniques, including cleansing your chakras and aura.
Michele’s goal is to assist you to be the best version of yourself you can be, all that is required from you is faith in yourself and the process, motivation for positive change, and the willingness to participate. Michele’s intention in her sessions is to create a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space where we can connect and allow your body to release what it wants to in that moment.

  • The decision to begin therapy is based on several factors, such as the impact of the issues on your quality of life, financial constraints, other commitments in your life, and a readiness to make the changes you would like to see.
  • Most people begin to see relief from their symptoms within 6-8 sessions; however, this will vary according to your issues and any barriers you may face that hinder your progress. Each person’s goals, treatment plan and recovery will be unique to them, and we will assist you in managing your expectations of counselling by informing you about the process and being realistic in the possible benefits for you overall.
  • Please see our booking page or contact info@compasscounselling.com.au if you have any further questions regarding the benefits of counselling or when you feel it would be the right time for you to begin.

Should either party experience technical difficulties, we will endeavour to email you straight away and/or try to reconnect online as soon as possible. If overall, more than 15 minutes of the session has not occurred due to technical problems we will offer to supplement this time, and if this is not possible, we will agree a reduced rate for that session in proportion to the service received.

Before the initial consultation:

  • New clients are asked to complete the intake questionnaire via the link provided at least 48 hours prior to your consultation appointment. At this stage we will assess suitability for online counselling to ensure we provide the best quality counselling experience.
  • Please ensure you have your appointment email from Coviu with details as how to access your session close at hand.
  • Launch the Coviu application and login a few minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your session.

In the initial consultation the therapist you see will explore your current difficulties and talk with you about how to proceed. We will want to ensure that your situation is best suited to having online therapy. However online therapy is not always suitable and, in such cases, we will try to recommend more suitable options that you might then wish to explore.

As therapists we aim to develop a trusting and friendly work relationship. To maintain the confidentiality and the boundaries of our work it is not appropriate to engage “socially” on any social network and social or professional forums.

As remote counselling is unique, the client needs to provide the counsellor with at least one support person as part of the intake form.
